Surrey Artists Open Studios
My favourite art network - a great way of meeting other artists in the area, and for making yourself known to local people. There's a website and an annual event or two. I participate, and also volunteer as co-ordinator for the East Surrey area.
Ochre Print Studio
I started my printmaking at Ochre, in Guildford. They run a variety of courses as well as open access sessions, and are generally a lovely bunch of people.
Martin Dudley - woodturner
My other half and the things he turns out. He is available for workshops, demonstrations and one-to-one tuition.
Jessica Burnett - photographer
I met Jessica on an artists' forum. Quite a few of my pieces are based on her photographs: click here to see them next to the originals.
JVB jewelry
Jessica has a second identity, making silver and gold chain work.
Blue Sky Artists
Three artists (one of them happens to be me) and their collaborations.
Katerina Waller
I just love her work. That's it.
Noonie Minogue
Exquisite etchings.

My other passion, dormant for many years. Since taking up the accordion in 2009, whistle and flute in 2010, music has taken over an enormous part of my life. I now play with several bands and ensembles.
The No 1 Ladies Accordion Orchestra
Founded by the fabulous Karen Tweed in 2010. Astonishingly, she let me join - a life-changing experience, leading to some of the best times I've ever had, including performances in front of paying crowds and demands for encores.
Groanbox
I saw these guys perform at the Crawley Folk Festival in 2009. Michael Ward-Bergeman plays the accordion with such expression and intensity that it made me want to have a go. I bought my first squeezebox shortly afterwards, and am now thoroughly obsessed with the instrument. I still listen to Groanbox a lot. Their live performances are amazing.
Lau
Another brilliant band with another superb accordionist, Martin Green. Catch them live if you can.
Rampant Rooster
A Dorking-based Morris side. They frequently dance to my whistle. There is also the Rooster ceilidh band, available for parties at very reasonable rates...

Meg Rosoff
One of my very favourite writers. Apart from the fact that she creates beautiful prose, convincing characters and engaging plots, she is also an incredibly generous and friendly person. Her blog is highly entertaining, too.
